That sorted it.
Good job
Stacey
Yeah, I'm rebuilding the search database now, so hopefully by the
time you read this, the results should be a little
better.

Yes, very nice.
The main thing I noticed is that the area's seem to be
wrong.
Search for Oteha Valley Road which is in North Shore
City, and it goes to the right place, but says "Oteha Valley Road -
Warkworth (Torbay)".
Warkworth is 45 minutes to the
north.
Very impressive. Our desktop mapping software isn't
even that smooth.

Thanks
for that information Richard. We have recently started taking ownership of
the road data (previously we just put up with whatever LINZ gave us), We
will make the correction and it should appear correctly when we do our
next upload to the server. Just to clarify, are you saying that Bay Road
actually stops where it intersects with Maskell Steet, or Kildare Avenue?
Maybe you could even grab a screen dump and edit it and send it to
me?
Cheers, Phil.

Your map appears to be wrong.
I search for my street (as one does :-) - Kesteven Ave. On your map, Bay
Rd seems to come around the corner and intersect with Kinsale Ave and
Kesteven Ave at a T-junction. In fact, Bay Rd stops on the corner,
Kesteven Ave goes all the way up. Bay Rd was supposed to go straight
ahead and down the hill (which you can't see) but they never finished
it.
I suspect the data is wrong - but if it were right, my house price would
increase by around $100k :-) I'd be in St Heliers instead of Glendowie
:-)
Damn nice software tho! I'm VERY impressed!
Richard

Ack! sorry - found the problem, the google search I did didn't produce
the answer until over half way down the first page of results! They must
be getting sloppy :)
Phil.
