I have used drive snapshot too - looked really good - I timed a backup of 2 large NTFS partitions to external USB drive in about 15 mins....
They say you can work while the backup runs, personally I preferred to go away and let it do its thing in peace.... The same SNAPSHOT.EXE (200K) used to backup and mount and restore volumes can also be run under a DOS boot disk as a console app. Comes with a disk image for boot floppy (FreeDOS in this case) that supports network and NTFS volumes. (the latter is only needed when restoring the Windows/boot partition) How do they squeeze all that in one 200K executable for Windows and console? Which makes restoring a single file easy - just copy it via explorer. All took about 40 minutes to do a backup (about 17GB) to a network share.
