The DS/DA group is planning to meet with a kernel maintainer on Monday afternoon, probably 4:00 - 6:00PM, to present our ideas and rationale for a kernel API. It is probably also long past time for the two work groups to synchronize.
If you OFIWG'ers are done with your hackathon by 4:00PM, I think it would be beneficial for DS/DA to hold its discussion with Doug in the context of a joint meeting with OFIWG, which would serve to help keep the two groups in synch. -Paul -----Original Message----- From: ofiwg [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Hefty, Sean Sent: Tuesday, March 08, 2016 4:08 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [ofiwg] OFIWG F2F in Monterrey After looking at the open/known issues, there weren't any that I didn't think we could solve through either GitHub issues or our normal ofiwg meetings. Most require specific proposals beforehand to discuss and analyze. For a F2F meeting, this was the best idea that I could come up with for an agenda, which I'm tossing out for discussion, (but not recommending one way or another). OFIWG Hack-a-thon 2016! We could use face to face time as a developer working session. The goals would be to: - Pick select fabtests to either expand or develop - Port to Solaris - Re-design the ofiwg web site - Work through the utility provider design and implementation If we went this route, then we should definitely have t-shirts for such a prestigious event. - Sean _______________________________________________ ofiwg mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openfabrics.org/mailman/listinfo/ofiwg _______________________________________________ ofiwg mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openfabrics.org/mailman/listinfo/ofiwg
