I'm using ofono 1.12 (srcrev="51982e7b132bc4a203f87767861c392380367050") with patches for Telit HE910 from Jonas Bonn that were posted here back in April.
I modified my udev rules, and ofono seems to find my modem to some extent, but it doesn't seem to issue any AT commands to it, and running list-modems doesn't return anything.
