Do you have more examples except "avoid the sm" ? :)
This patch was not added because Fab was intended to add another
implementation of this patch.
Fab, would you suggest to add the patch for the time being ?

I do not see some patches (such as "avoid the sm") in the trunk.
What is our policy regarding winof 2.0 branch? Is it subset of trunk or
it may have patches that are not in the trunk?
