        OpenSM 3.3.6 (UMAD vendor)
OFED_SDK fixes for building OFED verbs based applications
        Winverbs bug fixes
        DAPL .27 release
NetworkDirect v1 memory leak - fixed.

ROCE status?

Discussions
-----------

Rupert discussed OFA Interoperability events and status
        - Debug event (open to OFED vendors with alpha/beta HW/SW, vendor
participation encouraged).
        - GA Hardware Logo validation event, No vendor participation, SW is
OFED GA'ed release.

Next IOP event is Debug in the fall; last week of October.

Sadly, due to lack of sufficient hardware and vendor interest, winOFED is not
being hosted at either IOP event.
Eric Lantz is pursuing the issue with Rupert to secure hardware and software
for future testing.

winOFED release or point-release?
---------------------------------

Participants agreed that interesting changes in winOFED had generated critical
mass such that a full winOFED release (2.3) was warranted.
SVN branching for the winOFED 2.3 release will occur August 31st.
WinOFED 2.3 release is targeted for a September release.

ROCE status
-----------

(Note name change from ROCCE)

Mellanox has started a release cycle of their own, hence will not be able to
participate in the winOFED 2.3 validation effort.
Both validation parties (Mellanox and winOFED) will share bug fixes ASAP in
order to leverage validation efforts.
Microsoft has been running successful multiple day regression tests on Snapshot
2848 which is close to what winOFED 2.3 will be; included in this testing is
OpenSM 3.3.6(UMAD vendor), NDv1 memory leak fix and IPOIB DHCP fixes for large
systems.
Microsoft will be able to participate in the winOFED 2.3 release validation
effort.

Mellanox is not actively working on winOFED ROCE support until November 2010.
ROCE support (beta) is targeted for Q1'2011 inclusion into winOFED.
Once ROCE support is in svn, branch and validation efforts will commence with a
winOFED 3.0 release target of Q1'2011.

OpenSM 3.3.6 was declined for use in the upcoming Mellanox Gold release due to
the young nature of the windows port.

Microsoft has RTM'ed the HPC Edition release for Server 2008 R2.

NetworkDirect V2 specification has been released, with untested V2 provider
code checked into SVN for community review.
Sean and Fab are actively working on ND V2.
Microsoft is actively working on ND v2 tests and will release to WWG ASAP.
NDv2 is a stretch goal for the winOFED 2.3 release; possible future winOFED 2.3
point release including NDv2.

Intel iWARP NIC is now the 2nd MS Logo'ed iWARP driver on the planet.

That's all that is fit to print....

stan.
