Hello It's become apparent to me that the Emancipation Project is perhaps exploiting the incorrect part of the opensolaris community infrastructure. Jason & Steven's ce driver, Roland's work on the xpg utils, my libc work all aim towards the same goal ( shrinking usr/closed ), but are more or less separate projects in their own right. All of these projects have been acting almost entirely independent of each other thus far, and I see no technical reason why that oughtn't be the case.
So, what are everyone's thoughts on promoting the project to a community ( a community whose goal is to see to it's own destruction, but a community none the less ) ? I suppose for an intial list of contributors, Jason King ( jbk ) , Steve Stallion ( stallion ), Roland Mainz ( gisburn ), and myself, John Sonnenschein ( error404 ).
