I agree. The founding contributors of a community (or project) are an integral part of the formation process. It's a chance for new people to hit the ground running where they can demonstrate their leadership, technical and advocacy skills. I suggest we focus on what we are looking for in terms of founding community and project core contributors, but requiring proof via historic contributions to OpenSolaris isn't practical. The two year core contributor grant should take care of any founders that don't stand the test of time. Cheers, Jim
