You forgot what I originally complained about, which was that "Porting" 
as a name doesn't clearly indicate what you intended.

When all's said and done, I care less about the name, than I do about 
the charter.  I still think something indicating "Platforms" or 
"Hardware" in the name is better, but whatever....
