Steve.

Publishing a response does very little. It's already apparent that Sun
doesn't care what the communities opinion is, so publishing an
official opinion is pointless.

AFAIK, the only coercive power the OGB has is the instantiation and
more importantly the dissolution of projects.

Perhaps the OGB should toy with the idea of relegating OpenSolaris (
the distro ) to being simply a Sun Micro product, not at all
associated with the OpenSolaris community or infrastructure ?
