This is a request of contributor grant status for the following OpenSolaris community members:
Hyon Kim(htk) Victor Li(wl202157) Gary Horton(gh142101) Robert Harryman(bharryma) I looked in both the Constitution and Policies and Guidance sections of the OGB page but I am unable to find any clear direction on how to actually make this contributor grant status happen. The only item that I found in the constitution that seems to relate to this is in 7.7: "*7.7. Contributors.* The Contributors of a Community Group shall include every person who has been designated by the Core Contributors of that Group to have contributed substantively to that Group's efforts, including (but not limited to) every person who has contributed intellectual property to the OpenSolaris Community as a result of those efforts." Which seems to be indicating that this is a designation done by the core contributors. Does this imply that the core contributors should have some application available with which to do this? If so, I am unaware of the application that should be used. Or is it a case where we should be making grant status requests to OGB and this becomes OGB's responsibility to fulfill the request?
