Boy, that's sure a "glass half empty" kind of response. Fred has no idea what Oracle will want to do and says as much. The update notes that there was no response so it appears that the interest in integrating star is lacking both within Sun and externally. He leaves open the possibility that interest increase, either within Sun or Oracle. This is much more an indication of the interest in star, not in Open Solaris.
