Sun Solaris is already different from what the OpenSolaris community is 
creating.  There is layered software on top of what is being developed 
in the open, e.g. the closed-bins, the closed non redistributable 
drivers, etc. etc.

And yes, we do need a source repository that is managed by the 
OpenSolaris community.
