My law firm is Deeth Williams Wall LLP in Canada and I recall one very
interesting hour in which I had three lawyers in the room at $300 an hour
and that was just to get the beginnings of a discussion going. These lawyers
will then send in invoices via their billing department which include all
manner of things from research costs to copy costs. I have a folder here
that is three inches thick which covered off one minor issue with software
that I wrote for Prudential of America and I ended up retaining the
intellectual rights to it.

At least the coffee during the meeting was free.

I think that OpenSolaris needs to have such resources and it may be a
substantial amount of money to get *anything* done correctly.
