Greeting core contributors, We are in the midst of the 2010 OpenSolaris election. There are several nominees for the Governing Board. We also have a proposed new constitution which fixes flaws in the old one, and thus a Yes vote is unanimously recommended by the outgoing OGB.
http://poll.opensolaris.org/ There are 428 people who have Core Contributor status and are eligible to vote in this election, but so far only 121 have done so. If you are one of the 307 people who have not, please consider these scenarios: * socialism * death panels * monsters sneaking into your bedroom and whispering "wubba, wubba" while you sleep * terrorist attacks * biochemical warfare * the end of the world OK, none of those things are any more (or less) likely to occur if you don't vote, but wasn't it fun considering them anyway? :-) Seriously, please get out and vote for the OGB and vote Yes on the constitution. -- John http://blogs.sun.com/jbeck
