I am happy to report that the number of people who have voted in our annual
election has more than doubled since I harassed everyone last week. We are
now at 250, but that's only 58% of the electorate. Voting is one of the few
responsibilities of being a core contributor, so we are hoping for a rather
higher turnout. In particular, because of an oversight when the original
constitution was drafted, changes to it require approval by a majority of
the *electorate* rather than just a majority of the ballots cast. Correcting
this is one of many reasons that the outgoing OGB unanimously recommends
voting in favor of the new constitution:

In addition, there are 16 people running for the OGB. Please vote for the
candidates of your choice so we can get our vote count up, and we can stop
harassing everyone on a daily basis.
