Subject: RE: [ogf-d20-l] D20 System Trademark License issues

I believe it goes even further than that. Some people believe that the
proposed license may restrict honest, well-intentioned efforts to do quality
D20 material that serves their interpretation of the purpose of the license.
When they see a restriction that hinders them but does not prevent abuse, I
think they are right in pointing out how such abuse might happen. It
contrasts their innocent, possibly misguided, and restricted efforts with
legitimate abuse that cans slip through the restrictions. That will help the
license drafters to fine tune it.
