I had a different encounter at my FLGS out here in the Bay Area.

When I asked about the Creature Collection, they gave me blank 
stares.  After I told them what it was, the guy behind the counter pointed 
out the Bygone Bestiary for Sorcerer's Crusade.  I mentioned the Sword and 
Sorcery/White Wolf D20 bit, and then they gave me that snooty "White Wolf 
would never denigrate themselves to putting out something like that" 
attitude.

I really found it quite humorous.
