I dunno if that's the table you're looking for, but in the Monstrous 
Manual, on page14 you'll find a table for increased damage when a 
monster advances in HD:
(PER CATHEGORY 1 step higher).
old dmg new dmg
1d2                     1d3
1d3                     1d4
1d4                     1d6
1d6                     1d8
1d8 or 1d10     2d6
1d12            2d8
