<<Economic Darwinism. The foolish will elliminate>>
themselves, the brave will assist the others. I leave
it up to time and the courts to decide which one you
are. ;)
People who are brave and not foolish lose battles over civil rights issues every day in the courts. Blacks originally lost many civil rights battles to conservative and racist courts. That never made those on the losing end of the battles any less brave or any more foolish.
I am not programming anything right now under the OGL. I question whether it is brave or foolhardy to program something _just_ to pick a fight, and I think that's probably foolhardy unless the goal were to benefit the community with any victory that occurred. However, I think were I to program something and stand by an interpretation then that would not be foolish to defend my perspective so long as my perspective weren't so wildly offbase as to be wholly invalid to all reasonable observers.
Bravery can come in stages too -- one need not wildly commit all of one's resources to a small victory in life. It's an entirely reasonable thing to try to gather like minds to band together to change an unreasonable status quo.
