It would be nice to have these intentions stated at
www.opengamingfoundation.org to clear up some of the
speculation and facilitate discussion about whether the
foundations actions are in line with stated intentions.
For instance, my feeling is that the current usage terms
of the d20 trademark mainly serves to promote sales of
the PHB and belongs on a WotC website. While I think
promoting sales of the PHB via the d20 trademark is perfectly
fine, I also think the open gaming foundation should keep an
arms length from these activities.
BTW, any news on how all this is going to apply to software?
