Because...
1.  I create gaming materials (no I'm not published).
2.  I'm willing to accept the fact that someday I will want to purchase a 
non-WotC product.
3.  I'm involved in a fan site/gaming archive project that the D20 and the 
OGL will have a direct impact on.
4.  This is an issue that will effect my hobby and my career.  It behooves me 
to stay informed.
5.  I'm involved in a fan-run world creation project that will use 3E/D20 as 
the basic rule system.

I've never heard of Judges Guild.  And I promise to check out everyone's new 
products ... provided I'm allowed.  Look at it this way ... if you can sell 
to me you could probably sell to anyone.
