Actually, all rights for Attack of the Humans belong to Phil Reed (Propaganda 
Publishing) except for those he has licensed to me.

But that is beside the point -- if I were to produce a d20 version of Attack 
Of The Humans ( to continue your example) and make it all open content, then 
what would prevent *you* from making a film for AOTH for Hungary (or 
whereever)?  Nothing.

OGC is open for everyone always for all derivations (that is how I read it) 
which means that anything I open up is lost to me as a profit center for the 
future.

Call me a money-grubbing bastard if you'd like (and I'm not saying you have), 
but I need to be profitable in this or I'll just go back and publish with my 
*own* systems that *will* make me money.
