What if there is no OGC appropriate to the storyline in the adventures?
Should I just "make some up" for the purposes of appeasing people like you?
I should whip up a creature and put it somewhere folks will probably never
find it (and indeed hope they will not, as it's not in line with the
adventures) . . . ?

The issue to me is that you're being arbitrary.  "Open your content yor
you're a leech, and violate the spirit of this movement!"  I thought the
spirit was to allow the industry to flourish, . . . not to
force/compel/berate people into sharing something for the rest of you to
publish.
