Oh, good grief.
Dunandralis started on a WotC list, and was created by me so members of that
list could work together to make a D&D world. We got kicked off of that
list, but shortly thereafter were given space on wizards.com. ( I don't even
know who authorized it.)
The _only_ purpose of Dunandralis is to see what kind of world can be
developed for D&D using the minds of as many people as possible. When all of
this started we didn't know the exact details of d20 and OGL, but we wanted
to support what we did know about it. And it would be great if there was a
way for us to make our work open and keep it open without forcing every
contributor to give up some if their most valued IP.
If Dunandralis cannot participate in the OGL, then so be it. Right now, we
don't know what will and will not be available to us, and we aren't going to
make any decisions until the OGL is final and we get some solid advice.
We don't want to compete with WotC or it's trademarks. We roll our stats one
die at a time, just like the rest of you. If, however, the OGL and/or the
D20 will allow us more freedom with the aspects of us that _are_ property of
WotC ... well that would be just spiffy. If not? Then things were no
different from before. La, la, la, la, life goes on.
