From: "Rogers Cadenhead" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > It's a throwback to the bad old > days when TSR seemed determined to antagonize its customers. I disagree. It's a truce-in-effect to accommodate something beneficial to both parties. WotC understands that having fans create content and support its brands builds value. Consumers enjoy the egoboo of sharing their creativity with others. That doesn't mean that the existing guidelines are a good long term solution, or that we're happy with them as written. I for one think they are unethical because they don't require you to pass along the same freedoms you got from us to other people who might receive copies of your work. They are also vague, and are not written to withstand court challenges. I could go on for hours. Ryan ------------- For more information, please link to www.opengamingfoundation.org
