My copy of the Creature Collection arrived yesterday and from my initial
skim through the book, I was impressed. There seem to be a lot of unusual
creatures and interesting variations on existing ones. I haven't had the
opportunity to thoroughly read through the book but the few entries I did
read referred to a war between the Titans and the Gods, reminicant of Greek
Mythology. I've always been much more interested in the Ancient World than
the Middle Ages so this is wonderful as far as I'm concerned. The art runs
the spectrum from a few poor pictures to a few amazing ones with most of the
images falling somewhere in between. I prefer the non-glossy pages the
Creature Collection to high gloss of the PHB and DMG. I'm going to reserve
final judgement until I have a chance to more fully digest the book, but I
have serious doubts that my final analysis will be negative.

I think this is a major coup for the OGL and the D20STL. I am excited to
see that an OGL rulebook can be produced with competitive quality and
pricing and make it out before the equivalent WotC rulebook hits shelves. I
think that this could go a long way towards silencing naysayers' outcries
against the legitimacy of the OGL and the d20 system. Of course, it doesn't
hurt that White Wolf is involved. :)

Kudos to Clark on this one.
