Yes, it's an open standard.  It can be read on just about any platform you 
can think of, often with default software (like Wordpad for any version of 
Windows).

He seems to have forgotten to include his home subdir before the 
faq.rtf.  I skimmed through the list of home dirs and didn't see anything 
that jumped out at me as being his, so I guess we'll have to wait until he 
clears it up. :)
