What was the recent card game about cutesie girls trying to primp up to get a boyfriend....  It was a complete bomb... patronizing an audience... especially the female audience is not the right way to go.

I find talking to people that are already married to a female gamer are a great source for the "real stuff" when targeting a female audience.

Generalizing is not always good. Though your non-scientific poll may
reflect certain attitudes and desires, don't assume your findings apply to
all females. I know several female players (my wife included) who enjoy
dishing out their share mayhem anf "street justice" and wouldn't think of
shopping and jewelry and makeup (in the ways you describe).

I think if anyone produced the type and tone of product you suggest, it
would not be well received by most female gamers and seen as condescending.
But, if someone wanted to put their money into producing such an item, more
power to them. Ultimately the market (i.e., consumers) will decide if such a
thing "has legs."
