Sorry, wrong Unpronounceable Squiggle. The name is my weak attempt at humor.
When the singer Prince got in a feud with his record company and found
himself locked into a contract with them to produce more albums, he
officially changed his stage name to an unpronounceable squiggle symbol
(sort of an artistic blend of the Roman male and female symbols) and asked
that he be referred to as "The Artist Formerly Known As Prince". In some
fashion, he felt that he was sticking it to them by fulfilling the contract
but depriving them of the use of his name. I can't say I grasp the logic;
but that was what I had in mind when I had to drop the former name of the
game. (Once his contract expired, he resumed using the name Prince.)
