It is a violation of the OGL (and therefore of the D20STL) to include
reference to other people's trademarks without permission. Since the
D20STL doesn't grant permission to refer to the Monster Manual you cannot
refer the the Monster Manual anymore than you can refer to the Creature
Collection. How do people keep getting the idea that you can refer to
Wizards of the Coast products in OGL or D20 material? Isn't this covered
in either of the FAQs? The only mention of one of the core books that can
be made is the "Requires the use of the Dungeons & Dragons(R) Player's
Handbook, Third Edition, published by Wizards of the Coast(R)" line that
can be placed in/on a product under the D20STL. Any other mention of a
book published by WotC is a violation of the OGL.
