You are very confused. True, I can refer you to the CC. But since I can't actually
refer to anything in the CC by name, such a reference is still a waste of my time.
Do you honestly expect to see a reference in a professional product along the
lines of "refer to page 56 of the CC, but change the name that you find there to
Ixylrid"?

But since you've already admitted that I had done nothing of the sort, I think you
need to back off and reanalyze your position.

The day that WotC sets things up so that I can't refer to orcs or green slimes in
my product without printing their full statistics and giving them a new name is
the day that they have done what S&S has done with the CC.
