No, just kidding. No nudity. Just keeping my subject line in the vein of
the recent ones... ;-)

However, I am relieved to say that we finally finished TOUCHED BY THE GODS,
and the UPS pickup guy took it away to the printer just minutes ago. Whew!

We're really psyched that our first Penumbra hardcover should, barring
catastrophes, be out in May as announced (albeit in the latter part of May).
I think it's quite different from anything else coming on the market, being
a grab bag of secret societies and whatnot with lots of associated crunchy
bits (prestige classes, magical grafts--sort of like cyberware for the
fantasy setting, new spells and feats and domains...), ready for a GM to
plug into any world she likes, homemade or published.

I'm also glad to say, with respect to the recent discussions, that as I sat
down today considering whether there was anything in the Open Game Content
(as usual, all the shaded/parchment boxes) that needed to be labeled
"Product Identity," I concluded that in fact there was no need to so label
any of it. The gray boxes really keep the setting/character/story-like
elements pretty well segregated from the Open content, and PI really is a
designation for things that cross over between open and closed, so in the
Atlas way of doing things we really don't much need to label things as PI,
even with a heavily crunchy sourcebook. I hope this makes it easier and
less intimidating for people to borrow the OGC, if they are so inclined.

Anyhow, I need to go bust open a bottle of champagne or something...
