Check this against the visitor count at Monte Cook's website and you might
be pleasantly surprised. I doubt it's enough to constitute a market, but it's
probably enough to warrant a back cover blurb. It's certainly enough to cover
the laser-printing expense of an 8x11 carstock standee for convention tables,
I'd imagine. : )

I also have to agree with Mr. Golden's assessment. The language
specifically blocks trademark use (that is, "Dungeon Master," not the book's
title) for marketing. If, however, you make it clear on the book covers that
Monte Cook is a figure of importance to RPGs you might drive a reader to
consult the "About the Author" section who otherwise would not. Mr. Cook's
credits therein would certainly make the adventure stand out from the pack.
Also, Monte Cook is credited in the Copyright Notice of the OGL 1.0. Could
you mention on the cover that he's "Co-Author of the D20 System Rules!" ?
Not having the STL in front of me, I also have to wonder: is it possible to
put a blurb about Monte Cook near the "Requires ..." text on the cover in a
suggestive manner without violating the license? You know, something that would
connect the two and get a browser to flip the pages?
word,
will
