Greetings All: As some of you know I am in the process of forming a nonprofit organization called Better World Roleplaying. I decided to create an informal discussion list prior to incorporation because I need help establishing a realistic five-year business plan. I can tell you now this is a daunting task and the debate will probably get technical, but everyone is welcome. In brief, the purpose of Better World Roleplaying is to use roleplaying to make improvements in society. Initially, we hope to do things like: establish scholarships for educators who specialize in pedagogy (with a focus on Role Playing), grant money for RPG materials to places like YMCA or underfunded schools, and research and develop educational RPGs and present them as open content so teachers can modify and share at little expense to themselves.
