another case of perspectives: IMHO, you get no more rights because of 
financial risk than someone who is "playing it safe".  the creators 
*do* IMHO, get more rights than the consumers--because they are 
creators.  regardless of the financial risk (or it's lack).  or do 
you think that Madonna should have less right of control over her 
work because, even if she doesn't make a penny on her next album, 
she'll still be rich beyond the dreams of avarice for the rest of her 
days?  there is no "financial risk" in possibly losing a million 
dollars when you have a 100 million more--and only need a 
few-hundred-thousand of those to live on.
