Hmm. Interesting. I suppose it's possible, but I wouldn't chance it. In 
any event, the trademarks are locked down so tight that the actual 
copyright issues are likely to be null. (Example:The earliest Tarzan and 
John Carter novels are public domain, but no one can use them as the 
basis for a game, movie, etc, due to trademark issues.)
