No, this isn't the same site. The site in question belongs to someone who I
respect greatly as a game designer and who could honestly say "honest
mistake" in having put those examples down since they've probably written
the names in any number of examples before.

Thanks for the thoughts, I'm going to try the humble approach.

Assuming we're tallking about the same site (I wouldn't necessarily call
them "game designers," it's fan work), I think that page also has an insane
Section 15. Why each entry couldn't have it's own OGL I don't know.
Anyway, as to correcting people, I feel the same desire. However, I've also
learned that people often don't react well to being corrected. Either that,
or I lack tact, a definite possibility. :) But really, it's not my job.
Granted you could say it's everyone's job to check up because OGL relies on
a chain of trust, and knowing that chain is broken and doing nothing is also
harmful. Really though, we have no recourse, only the person whose IP is
being violated does. I think that if you can't help but send some sort of
note to the author, it's best to wrap it in a compliment, "I like your idea
for X, but I thought you'd like to know Y may cause a problem for you down
the road."
