Does anyone use any checklists for game design that helps them keep sideline rules in order as they are developing? For example, there was a review I read where it was mentioned that a spell caster npc in a book had an 16 intelligence but the spells on his list went up to 9th level. So obviously there may have been some sort of oversight by the designers. Anyone have cheat sheets they use to keep general core rules like that straight (i.e. maximum caster level)? Is this something someone can share with me or offer me some general advice on how best to go about building one?
