It would be an inconvenience for the game designers if the SRD is not
updated to the most recent D&D core rules, since the D&D Player's Handbook
is the default core game book for use with any d20-labeled produced. After
all, the SRD is assumed to be the stripped-down bare rules from D&D.

Personally, I'd rather have both the original and revised SRDs posted
separately.
