Right, there's been a complete lack of response to my proposal for
finishing oglbase. Operating on the ARB model ("silence == assent"),
here is the plan with dates:

  - The comment period has been open for several days and will close at
5 PM Pacific time, Wednesday, February 16. The current proposal is,
    as a reminder, at

        http://oss.sgi.com/projects/ogl-sample/ABI/

  - At that time we'll make make whatever uncontroversial changes result
from the comment period, shift open issues etc. to an appendix, and
post a public RFC on the various relevant newsgroups and websites.
The public comment period will close Wednesday, March 1.

  - We will declare victory and publish oglbase version 1.0 no later
    than Wednesday, March 8.

P.S. And for those of you who like to bitch about the ARB, you have been
having a personal introduction via oglbase to the same combination of
overwork, apathy, self-interest, and argumentativeness that affects the
speed at which all standards bodies operate.
