Good point - perhaps we should have voted an order of preference, i.e. 2
points for first choice, 1 point for 2nd choice.  Given the following
theoretical votes:

C, B, A
C, B, A
A, B, C
B, A, C

The winner would be B, which would be a good compromise.  With the current
scheme the winner would be C, which as you point out doesn't reflect the
fact that the more people found B acceptable than C...
