Cool!
Just for info: The ogl-samples URL mention that one of the
thing SGI would liket o use of OGL SI for Win32. For our XFree86 ports
to Cygwin/Win32, we
now have rudimentary driver(xf_glw.dll), which when linked to
an X-server loads OpengL SI/Mesa/GLX/DRI, as well as it supports
Win32 wGL API to provide OpenGL hardware acceleration using Win32
native OpenGL32. It co-exists with DirectX 7.0 Users should be able
to write applications which would use OpenGL as well as DirectX
for 3D rendering on Win32.

Driver and its code has not been released, once all the
glitches are fixed, it will be available as part of Cygwin/XFree
at http://sourceware.cygnus.com/cygwin/xfree
A sample application code to demonstarte use of DirectX and OpenGL in
the same application will be part of driver archive.
