For a string "ABCDE", asciifromstring(n, 1) returns the ASCII value for B.
Documentation says that should be A.
asciifromstring(n, 0) returns 0, so effectively the first character in a string
is inaccessible. Annoying!
For a test script, I refer you again to the CP thread conveniently re-linked
above. I thought I was losing my mind, but it turns out I was debugging for you
guys. The two are pretty similar.
