Mainly, though, I was thinking of colors varying by stat. In Seiken Densetsu 3, attacks harming enemies are purple, attacks harming allies are red, attacks healing allies are blue, attacks healing enemies are green, attacks harming hero MP are yellow, and so on... (Attacks that deal more damage are shown in a larger fontsize but in the same color.)
