Every release that permitted the use of the Each-Step script up to and
including Hasta-la-qb+ could handle successive executions of individual
plotscripts in one step at seamless speeds. In DOS.
In Windows, however, the execution speed drops so low that the character takes
as much as a full second to complete a step (where normally the character can
complete as many as three steps in the same length of time in DOS mode).
The test case (which I emailed James several months ago, but never got around
to actually posting it on Bugzilla until now), handles as many as six
individual scripts on a single step. Again, the DOS version runs it smoothly,
but the Windows version lags something fierce.
Let me know if you need me to resend the plotscript to help with the
simulation.
