I would think the easiest way to do this is to have an item/attack used during
battle call a plotscript.  Then you could change the hero battle sprites and
add or subtract stats as needed.  I'm new at all this plot scripting stuff so
I'm not sure how you'd go about putting them back to normal after battle.  I
would think either an after battle script that defaulted the Hero that
transformed or something in the script that was called up to do the
transformation that would reverse itself at the end of battle, but I don't know
if that script could stay open that long.
