Cloned image after switching tools.
I did not see this one on the bug list, but I have noticed this glitch at least
as long as the MARK/CLONE tools have been available (Werewaffle?). It is
definitely present in both the stable Ypsiliform version, and the nightly
Zenziznzic version of custom.
After an image is MARKED and the editing tool switches to CLONE, the cloned
image can be misaligned from underneath the cursor if you do any of the
following things:
1. Switch to LINE tool, draw a line, and switch back to CLONE.
2. Switch to BOX tool, draw a box, and switch back to CLONE.
3. Switch to OVAL tool, draw an oval, and switch back to CLONE.
This happens while editing both sprites and maptiles. It seems like the larger
the shape you draw with LINE, BOX, or OVAL before switching back to CLONE, the
more off-center the cloned image is from your cursor. It can become so
off-center that the cloned image will not appear in the image window, forcing
you to move your cursor way off to the opposite side of the window to make the
clone reappear. This sometimes makes it impossible to place the cloned image
where you want since the cursor is locked to the image window while cloning,
preventing the clone from reappearing at all.
This does not seem like a really huge problem, just a minor annoyance when you
are cloning an image onto several sprites or tiles while pausing to clean them
up here and there.
