This one breaks compilation for me.

ja...@rhinoctopus:~/src/ohr/wip$ gcc -c -g -O3 base64.c
In file included from base64.c:47:
base64.h:34: error: expected ';', ',' or ')' before 'in'
base64.h:39: error: expected ';', ',' or ')' before 'in'
base64.c:67: error: expected ';', ',' or ')' before 'in'
base64.c:313: error: expected ';', ',' or ')' before 'in'

it doesn't seem to like the "in" in "const char *restrict in"

I am using gcc version 4.4.3-4ubuntu5
