Well, we've been using RSAV for a while now, but still fully support SAV. I'm not totally confident in RSAV yet (I've really only tested it once, and found about 5 bugs, most of which noone had found after a few weeks of use), but it's been a few months now. Instead of just dropping SAV outright, we could start adding things to RSAV that SAV does not have, and keep writing out .SAV files with most of the data. I think we're more than ready to make that step... but I don't have anything to add to RSAV at the moment. I'm voting that we now allow anyone to do so.
